Bishop X-LUMEN Power Wand

The X-LUMEN puts the light in the machine. An LED ring shines through a diffuser built into the grip, spreading it evenly around the cartridge instead of throwing a hard beam, so the shadow your own hand casts stops being a problem. Four modes cover warm and cool at two brightness levels each, cycled with a button on top of the battery. Underneath it is the Power Wand Advanced you already know, same German-made Faulhaber motor, with the grip widened to 37mm from the original 31mm to house the lighting.

Bishop have spent years building machines that artists keep rather than trade on, and it comes down to what goes inside them. German-made Faulhaber motors give you low vibration and consistent output through the longest sessions, hand assembly in the USA keeps the tolerances tight, and the ecosystem is properly joined up: Critical Connect batteries, foot switches and firmware all work together rather than nearly fitting.
